Welcome to the Motorcycle Enduro Riders Club (M.E.R.C) Website

M.E.R.C inc is a Motorcycle Sporting Organisation based in Southern Tasmania for over 30 years.

We encourage families, spectators and visitors alike to come and watch or take part in our events which generally run on a monthly basis. Our club welcomes competitors from 4 years and up. M.E.R.C is a fun way to meet new people with similar interests in a family friendly club environment. Motorcycling Australia licencing, regulations and precautions are adhered to at all our events.

Welcome to the 2026 Season. 
M.E.R.C is now an affiliate Club of Motorcycling Australia (MA) and if you wish to race the 2025 Season there are a few things you need to know. 

ALL LICENCES INCLUDING MERC CLUB MEMBERSHIPS ARE PURCHASED THROUGH RIDERNET.

2026 MERC Membership Fees
Single Membership is $60, $10 extra per family member, capped at $90. Sweep Rider only Memberships will be free but need to be approved by the committee, if you then choose to race in 2026 you will need to purchase a paid club membership. New and wanting to Race in 2026?
Junior Members
For more detailed information on the joining process, please head over to MA Websitehere. Junior Members new to MA will need to be part of the MA Kickstart Program and attend a Coaching Day to gain endorsement. For more information and to download a Kickstart Program Booklet here.  For information on any upcoming Coaching sessions please email info@merc.net.au, contact us on Facebook or enquire with MA.

MERC organise regular Coaching Sessions to help our members with this licence requirement, keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates.     

Senior Members
For more detailed information on the joining process, please head over to MA Website here. Senior Members new to MA will need to be signed off as being competent to ride a motorbike by a MERC Club Official or a Level 2 MA Official, alternatively a Motorcycle Licence is sufficient evidence.
