WHAT IS SCRUTINEERING
Before the riders briefing you must have your bike checked by one of the scrutineers. This is done to ensure you are riding a safe and well maintained bike and have the appropriate protective gear.
The following items are checked:
- Throttle return
- Brake and clutch free-play and effectiveness
- Wheel and frame bearings
- Bar ends
- Foot peg spring and return
- Spokes
- Tyres
- Sprockets and chain tension
- Helmut
- Body armour for junior riders
