Grass Track Classes - Juniors

JUNIOR GRASS TRACK CLASSES

Junior riders determined by age from the 1st of January (eg if rider turns 13 after the 1st of Jan they can still ride in 12yrs class)

2026 Updates 

A & B Classes  - Enter initially in which class you feels suits the riders ability  - Riders will be re graded after Round one or two. 

Nippers  - Non Competitive 4 - Under 9 Years (judged on rider capability not bike size)

Competitive Classes - 

50cc  - 6 - Under 9 Years (Max 50cc) 

Trail Class - 7  - Under 9 Years  (Standard Wheel - 80cc - up to 125cc 4 Stroke Bikes Only)

Trail Class  - 9 - Under 16 Years (Standard/ Big Wheel - 80cc  - up to  150cc 4 Stroke air cooled Bikes only)

65cc -  7   - Under 12 Years A & B Classes  (65cc 2 Stroke Bikes)

85cc  -  9  - Under 12 Years A & B Classes  (85 cc 2 Stroke Small Wheel only / Max 150cc 4 Stroke Standard Wheels) 

85cc  - 12 - Under 16 Years A & B Classes  (85cc 2 Stroke all Wheel Sizes/ Max 150cc 4 Stroke all Wheel Sizes)

Junior Prolite  - 13 - Under 16 Years A & B Classes   (Max 150cc 2 Stroke and 200cc - 250cc 4 Stroke)

 

Current 2025 Classes 

Nippers 4-9yrs - non-competitive (4- under 9yrs, no bike size limitation, judged instead on rider capability on the day of the event)

50cc Competitive 6- under 9yrs - 50cc max bike size all types

65cc 7- under 9yrs  - 65cc 2 stroke / 110cc 4 stroke (We recommend trail class for most 110cc 4 stroke riders)

65 cc 9 - under 13  - 65cc 2 stroke / 110cc 4 stroke (We recommend trail class for most 110cc 4 stroke riders)

Trail Class 7-12 yrs - must be air cooled 4 stroke max 150cc

85cc 9-under 13yrs A & B - max 85cc 2 stroke/max 150cc 4 stroke (no bar height or wheel size restrictions) 

85cc 12 - under 16yrs A & B - max 85cc 2 stroke/max 150cc 4 stroke (no bar height or wheel size restrictions)

Junior pro lites 13-16yrs A & B  - max 150cc 2 stroke or 250cc 4 stroke * up to 200cc 2 stroke if ADR compliant *

 A & B Classes are both dependant on Race Times and also number of entrants in the class overall  - if there is not enough entries for two classes then only one class will be run.
